Malheur NWR, a unique high desert oasis is an essential migration stop for birds following the Pacific Flyway. Carl Woodward, Great Swamp NWR volunteer and board member of Friends of Malheur NWR, will provide an overview of this fascinating Refuge with a history of collaboration and controversy.
